The Plan

In order to keep the Central Park Reservoir safe and to prevent pollution the reservoir is surround by a fence which prevents New York residents from polluting the water. (However, I noticed a few soda bottles, and snack wrappers floating near the ducks.)

The water should also be tested at least every month using a testing kit. The water-testing kit is to measure the calcium hardness of the water, the idea calcium hardness is between 200 and 400 parts per million (ppm).

The Clean Water Act (CWA) was enacted on October 8, 1972 to preserve the life forms within large and small bodies of water. Its purpose is to restore and maintain the chemical, physical, and biological attributes of the reservoir which will make it useable in time of dire need.
